THE MUSEUM

This is our main exhibit room, located in our main building. It features some interactive components, as well as displays that detail Benjamin Banneker's family history, personal life, and accomplishments.

THE FARMSTEAD

This cabin, located directly behind the main building of the Museum, is a reproduction of the cabin that Benjamin Banneker would have lived in. The gardens feature plants, vegetables and herbs that Banneker would have farmed.

THE PARK

The park consists of 144 aces of land, and it was from this site that Banneker crafted one of the first all-American-made wooden clocks and wrote his almanacs and famous correspondence with Thomas Jefferson.
